As a Gay man in an 11 year long marriage. These truths go the same for men. Appreciation and respect are as strong a component of a relationship as love is. This letter is very wise.

I've been too much in my own head lately, and I realized listening to you that I'm not being generous with my time and affection to my partner. Your qualifier at the beginning was well done, but a lot of the advice in this letter can apply to all genders and all romantic relationships, and it is much appreciated.
