And as someone who has been in court many times for fighting in my younger days, I was amazed at how quickly you guys veered away from the direction I was sure that story was going. This woman is ABSOLUTELY 100% criminally responsible for the death of her unborn child. Now, whether or not manslaughter should be the appropriate charge? That’s a discussion worth having. But, I really don’t think you can put this on Alabama. I am quite certain that this woman would be facing criminal charges in almost any state. The fact that you are comparing knowingly, and willingly putting your child in such an obviously dangerous position by starting a fist fight with another human being while five months pregnant, and driving a car is baffling to me! That is the, “Marry your computer” argument of this topic. Not to mention she got shot.... Which means it’s quite possible this woman was even aware that the other lady was armed. I don’t know for sure? And it doesn’t matter. I thought for sure you guys were going to be on the other side of this. She is absolutely criminally negligent in some way, shape, or form. I get where you’re coming from. And I understand you bringing up the slippery slope. But, this is probably not the best example for you to be making that argument. In my opinion.... Andrew!!!!!!!

On the way, as soon as I crossed the Alabama state line, I felt uneasy, uncomfortable, and completely out of sorts. I refused to get out of the car until I was out of the state. More and more I am convinced this was not an irrational response.
