Just an update. So far we've only heard from Nickelodeon's Animated Shorts Program with the following auto e-mail a few days after we submitted:
"Hello!
Thank you for submitting to Nickelodeon’s 2016 Animated Shorts Program! We appreciate you taking the time to tell us about yourself and your project.
We are currently reviewing all submissions and will be following up with you further once our submission period closes.

In the meantime, to continue my quest to be able to be a full time writer, and show people who may be on the fence about trying it themselves what it's like, I will be applying to DC Comics Writers Program. I've been putting this off a little as I'm really not looking forward to if they reject me. I've been a HUGE DC Comics fan since before I could read, so that'd be like finding out my mothership isn't coming for me. :D
Also, you'll see that I've attached a webcomic I'm going to start posting on 'Comics Sherpa' called 'Dr. Whiskers'. It's an experiment because I really can not draw that well. I'm an advanced doodler. :) But I've been wanting to do something with the character for a awhile, so I figured I'd try it.
