Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m an advocate for the local sexual assault center. I respond to the ER to assist victims while they undergo a “rape kit”. 95% of my role is explaining to the victim that they are in fact, a fucking VICTIM! It’s unbelievably sad to ask for details about an assault and instead hear a list of reasons why the victim was wearing a skirt that night. You can scream about the absence of any “reason” to be raped for an hour and I’d listen...and probably increase my Patreon donation.
