Dear Supporters,
As part of our ongoing series on system updates and enhancements, we’re excited to share improvements to one of the most quintessential elements of cyberpunk: Cybershock. Previously, this system functioned in a more limited capacity. With these updates, however, Cybershock will become a central component of both gameplay and strategic planning.
We invite you to dive in and explore the changes!
The latest updates to the Cybershock rules introduce a nuanced layer of psychological effects that simulate the mental strain caused by excessive cybernetic enhancements in characters. The new rules detail progressive stages of mental deterioration, marking a significant evolution in the game’s dynamics.

Cybershock is measured from 1 (minimal) to 10 (severe). At level 5 (Neural Glitch), characters experience disorientation, reducing movement speed. At level 7 (Neural Fatigue), mental fatigue causes decision-making penalties (disadvantage to any test). At level 10 (Neural Overload), an overload triggers Cyberpsychosis, making the character uncontrollable and a danger to allies. When a model reach Cybershock level 10, she/he must perform a Standard Mental test. This represents the final opportunity to retain humanity. A successful test allows the character to remain at level 10, with the player retaining control but ... From now on, every time a character is activated, a Cybershock check is mandatory.
We hope that you like the upcoming changes.
Happy printing
