I don't think this strip is offensive. But what if it was like that new FOX Network game show airing Thursday nights during the Summer months where you cut a wire with a correct answer but if you cut the wire for a wrong answer you get splattered with some messy goop?

Say, here's an idea: Why not ask us patrons for alternate punchlines for GoComics? Frixample: "But it's mostly when just fantasizing wears me out." "Who knew that a skinny kid with braces would turn into a red-hot mama?" "...and then I go to the online Viagra ads."

Given the content of the strip in the past, I certainly wasn't expecting that kind of punchline, but that doesn't mean it wasn't funny. As long as the strip doesn't go too crude or too often, the occasional off-color joke is fine by me. (Not that it matters; after wishing we could get more My Cage for years, you'd probably have to start transcribing Howard Stern in the strip to get me to stop reading now...) XD

I'm not trying to activate the Censorsheep or squash your creativity. I just really like your strip because of it's excellent sense of comedy and life without being cutesy or resorting to body part humor. I'm not sure what I'm trying to describe, but in the past I've noticed that when comedy goes to crude, it usually goes in a downward spiral. I'm not suggesting you change what you want to do with your strip. I guess I'm just trying to figure out your path so I know if it's something I still want to spend my resources on. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks again. Yeah, for those worried, we won't be 'Family Guy' or 'south Park' (I love them, but that's not us) but we'll be more along the lines of whatever, say, Bob's Burger's might be rated. -Ed

Don't worry. We would be a shock value strip, but we had to rebel once now that we can. We'll be on our good behavior most of the time. But again, we have tackled topics lik adultery in the past, so it's not totally (giggle) out of the norm (HA! Get it?) :D - Ed

Diane, we apologize if you found it offensive or crude. Since we don't publish with the syndicate we thought we thought we'd use the opportunity to try to push outside the boundaries a bit. The syndicate was really good censorship which is why we created the censor-sheep for some strips. We do value our readers opinions so thank you for stating it! It'll help us smooth out some subjects in future strips and maybe I'll add the censor-sheep as a friendly warning to some readers. Thank you!
