So, I've been re-reading all my old 'Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew' issues (a comic HUGELY responsible for 'My Cage'....if i could get Roy Thomas and Scott Shaw to do a 'My Cage' strip, I could die happy) Now, when back then, they called the book a 'Funny Animal' book, and comics had had a lot of those in the past (Super Rabbit, Fox and Crow). And while I have nothing against Furries (whatever people do is there own business), I consider 'My Cage' a 'Funny Animal' comic. So, my question is, can there be 'Funny Animal' comics now that the internet has brought on kind of an 'Age of Furries', so to speak. Also, what are things like Walt Disney's upcoming 'Zootopia' considered these days? And Bugs Bunny, whose 'Super Rabbit' cartoon seems to have influenced my beloved child hood CCAHAZC as much as the Zoo Crew influenced 'My Cage'? Or have the reappearance of Capt Carrot by Grant Morrison kind of quelled all this Furrie paranoia stuff? Let me know what you think.

Other past/present funny animal cartoons... The Get Along Gang (A mid 1980's American Greetings greeting card line that also had a toy line and a cartoon series). Arthur (Based on Marc Brown's children's books that also has a still going strong since 2006 cartoon series on PBS Kids). T.U.F.F. Puppy (A 2010-2015 Nickelodeon/Nicktoons cartoon series created by Butch Hartman of The Fairly Oddparents fame). I also remember in the 1990's the Warner Bros./Steven Spielberg/Tom Ruegger joint venture cartoon series with funny animals: Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Road Rovers.
