2025-02-21 02:20:41 +0000 UTCYeah I agree, I kinda wondered if Alicent has resented the way rules don't seem to apply to Rheanyra (even when they sometimes apply to the king such as a remarriage, etc. and especially Alicent). Rheanyra is young and beautiful and gets to experience the world and live a more vibrant life full of more opportunities and choices; such as the juxtaposed cut screen between Rheanyra seeing how pleasurable life (and sex) could be, and then seeing Alicent just trying to get through her miserable night with the King. It represents her life in many regards and she did all of this out of duty to her father. Rheanyra scorning hers, and ending her tour early full of countries of men who would die to be with her probably just exasserbates it. Alicent even said most people would be lucky to have two choices of men. It makes me sad for Alicent, and how her and Rheanyra's friendship may have brought Alicent more out of her shell if she had not married the King and become trapped (while also therefore slamming the door on her friendship with Rheanyra).

TWO, I like watching with Hannah. but other than that, I am not that into it. it's way too days of our lives but with swords and dragons. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me Hannah is gonna watch Fallout soon. With Ash. Cuz the dismal The Boys and Haunting of Hill House stuff isn't enough to sustain a subscription no matter how much I luv ya two. Do FALLOUT. For sure. And do True Blood. They got all the stuffs... drama, romance, action, good storytelling... the whole nine yards, and they are series'. I keep tellin' ya both to watch the movie The Fisher King but I doubt ya listenin'. Though I really think you'd like it. Anyway, I hope you pick one of those shows up. For real.

Ash will be sad he missed no neck Hannah! 😄I loved all the different plot lines developing in this one. Alicent annoyed the crap out of me when I first saw this. She has no room to be mad and judgemental about Rhaeynra not telling her. She was literally cozying up to her freakin' DAD in secret for months and didn't tell Rhaeynra anything. And then she ended up marrying him! That scenario doesn't exist anywhere in the girlfriend code. Rhaeynera forgave her and that situation is much bigger than not telling your bestie who you are sleeping with.
