Have you ever worked on project and found yourself stuck at some point and have you sanity points slowly go down to zero ? Well this was the case for this pic. A part of it at least.

Sculpting a character and adding the skin/hair color is such a smooth and enjoyable part of any pics I work on. Tattoos are something I also really enjoy...usually. Let me explain :

Usually, I create stencil images using either existing pictures (see the abs tattoo) or from scratch that I then apply to my models. In this case I had to use the tattoo textures from the WoW files directly... "But Melo haven't you done that before ?" you may ask and the answer to that is yes but (there is always a but :p ) My latest models use a either a 1080x1080 or 2160x2160 texture format and Blizzard uses what seems to be some sort of 640x640. The problem with that is that If i use the ingame tattoos they end up stretching and look really low quality on my home made models...So after around 5hours of work ( my slow brain is to blame) I managed to fix the ingame tattoos onto this cute belf !

The rest of the pic was an absolute breeze of fresh air. I really enjoyed posing the newly made belf model ! Working on the decor and the custom objects such as the blade and the hanging candle really hyped me for future pics !

This pic was a perfect balance between my sanity and insanity.

Do I regret it ? Absolutely not, I learned a ton !

Would I do it again ? Maybe after a long cooldown, my poor brain needs a break haha !

I cannot blame Dander for what this pic put me through. Their OC is one of my favorites ever made. The dark skin match up with the white hair and black tattoos is really hot I can't lie. Though I will point my finger to Blizzard for using such low quality textures in 2023 is....A really odd choice to say the least.

Though I will say it once again, It was an amazing pic to work on after all. And I hope to picture that girl once again in the future <3
