Common Life Update 7

Something I've kept meaning to post for Common Life is its set-up -- why your family has moved and started attending a new school for the final year of high school. Being a fairly open-ended game it won't have much of a plot but this will help with context for the main character and his family.

Before the start of the game the MC's family was comfortably upper-middle class, living out in the suburbs. His dad was a hedge fund manager, making a very good living allowing him and his family to live well and for the MC and his sister to attend a private high school. Unfortunately he eventually got busted for fraud and embezzlement, landing him in prison and most of the family's assets taken.

The game then starts as the MC, his sister, and his mom move back into the city to be closer to the mother's sister who's helping them out, including getting them an opening in the apartment complex she lives in. The main character and his sister also start attending a charter school with their cousin, Viki.

Now on to this month's character intro:

Madison

Before the start of the game she was a young bartender working a bar near a college that her future husband went to. After the two married she became something of a trophy wife and a stay at home mom, though she never really fit well into the 'mom' role. Madison would fill her then idle days with staying in shape by exercising, jogging, and doing yoga; she also liked to drink, watch day-time TV, and go out with friends. Her relationship with her kids during this time was fairly superficial, relying on take-out food and only ever spent time with them when they'd go out shopping or to the movies.

Now, forced to step up, take charge, and take care of her family, she's gotten a job as a fitness instructor at a mid-tier private gym. Realizing that her kids will soon go off to college she's begun to regret not spending much time with them and wants to make up for that. Madison has also started to take online courses to further her education in hopes of starting a real career. Having moved away from most of her friends when she and her family moved into the city Madison finds herself both lonely and bored during her free time.

For her appearance I was aiming for a thick and curvy yet fit and trim look which I think I got decently close to. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted her face to look like and got close to that, too. So, overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how she currently looks. I might tweak her jaw a bit, and make the chin dimple she has less apparent (I didn't realize how deep it was until I was in the middle of rendering this image). I'll probably also add some more 'aging' / 'aged' details to her face to give her more of an appropriately MILF-y look, though I won't go too far with it.

I plan to post some more renderings of her, the twins, and the teacher before the end of the month.
