I love my Lyr 3. The Schiit compay seems pretty good. For a low budget that sounds good. Get the Schiit stack which is this Modi with either a Magni, or if you want to try tubes....get the vali with the Modi.

And yeah, I spent a lot of time fretting over multibit and concluded I'd only notice a difference through extensive A/Bing, and the difference would be slight and subjective. I'm totally convinced I have better things to do with my money. For the vast majority of us a Schiit Modi/Magni stack is all any of us would ever need, though I ended up with an Asgard 3 (internal non-multibit dac) bc I was worried about powering my DT880s.
