That would be interesting! I have not heard the Ncore amps but people rave about them. I did make a diy amp using the tda 7498 chip that's in the topping and thought it sounded ok at best.

2019-08-14 23:25:57 +0000 UTCThis unit uses Hypex Ncore amplifiers and ESS Sabre DAC so that is a lot of the cost. Hypex amps a very well reviewed and are considered the top of the digital amp food chain by many.

It’s expensive, it gets hot (too hot), etc, etc. Although (and flame away if you wish) to get the most out of the M10 I would advise using Roon instead of the garbage BlueOS app. I agree the unit is expensive; as is Roon; but the two together make a much more worthwhile package. Roon is leagues ahead of other digital playback software imo, especially if you are using it with a streaming service such as Tidal alongside your FLAC (CD quality...yes I still buy CD’s...a shit ton) collection. Keep up the good work Zeos, even if I don’t agree all the time I like your honesty!
