Excellent sound for only $100 shipped, I've been listening to them for 24 hours now and am amazed in how accurate they can sound with certain music. I let my daughter have a couple of hours with them playing rap and other pop music, The speakers do their best to try to keep up with demanding bass selections but they can get flustered with exaggerated heavy bass. For most other music its a tremendous overachiever considering the very low price point, An excellent buy. If I had one gripe they do produce alittle hiss at idle even when the volume controls are turned down that is reminiscent of powered PA speakers, I used a XLR to 1/8" y cable going into a Chromecast Audio and used Spotify as the music source.

Just got mine today and they work like a treat on the desk, so...ya for $99 what a deal.

SO... I get that they are loud but are they really too loud for a desk? I like scary. But I want to know that there is going to be a good sound across the board. There is someone selling some Equator D5 coaxial ($90 used) monitors but can't find a decent review on them.

And I’m also Dj a wedding want something potable and sounds good and can get Loud that’s what I was thinking of these speakers.

It’s a passport fender 300 and the space I’m I. Is usually 3500 to 3000 square feet but it sounds so bad.

Id need to know all about the space and the speakers in question.

Ordered a set 3 hrs ago, The demo video lit up my computer speakers so I know these things sound fine. Thx Z !!

Yep. Totally bought at $99. If nothing more than to play around with changing out the box.

Hmmm... $255.00 a pair now on amazon, but discounted on monoprice for $99.00. I wonder how long that's going to last after this video goes public.
