I totally understand, manufacturing variance is a fair point, and I know you are just doing your best and I do appreciate all the effort you put into this. I also appreciate the response since I can only imagine how busy you must be. No worries, of course. It's not like I work for MD or anything. Just felt like it was a possibility, that's all. Perhaps your sample was better than I originally thought, because the more I thought about your description, the more it made sense. Can't say I agree with every part, but of course my ears are built differently than yours, and I'm here for your thoughts and opinions on this crazy hobby, so thanks for hearing me out at any rate. If you were interested, be happy to send my pair out regardless of the length of time or even if you make a video on it. Let me know if you'd like to do that and we'll set something up. No worries if not though.

I actually assume that the only way to get the FULL picture would be like 10 samples all taken from different times. I imagine every unit has a small discrepancy but nothing saying a BIG one can't come along. Humidity in the factory could do it. And if I get a great pair or a shit one I only get the One.

Sorry in advance for how this sounds. Not to fanboi too hard over these BUT, I think you may have gotten a borked pair of the MD+, for a few reasons. Firstly, if the Plus hurts you and those HE 350's weren't something is up there. I read a few reviews before I purchased my pair and what I can hear leads me to believe I have a representative sample. If I had to describe it, I'd say the Plus sounds like they describe it, neutral with a bass boost. Honestly, my pair has less highs than HD 600, to the point where I used those JVC Spiral Dots that everyone is seems to love to open it up more. That seems to be a common complaint in the Plus' reviews as well. Joshua Valour is mildly treble sensitive (his own words), and I don't remember him complaining about the Plus offhand? It could very well be something with how your ears are shaped, or just a bad sample, or maybe Polaris is experiencing sunspots 3000 years ago and those radiations are fucking with the treble energy of IEMs in your apartment, idk man, I'm not a scientist... Or an audiologist. Thank you for all the work you do on reviews, and I'm not intending to be a dick or anything, just saying that it sounds to me like something was off somehow for the pair that you reviewed. Again, no offense intended, and thanks!
