I wonder if those are the same pads as the HyperX Cloud. My older brother had that laying around when I went to visit and when I got back I immediately went and ordered two sets of just the pads. So soft and comfy.

Can't say anything bothers me about the fit, they certainly are comfy, but my Beyers' are more snug on my bonce and, for me, they're more comfortable for that reason. In contrast, the Beyers' do get a bit sweaty if I wear them for a few hours, but I've been wearing the Takstars for about 5 hours now and they still feel a bit cold. I've got some really old Sennheisers for comparison, but they're so old the leatherette on the pads is crumbling, so they just feel odd!

Really? What part bothers you because I am damn sure it would be a universal fit.

These will serve better for the bus for sure. No bulky pads and decent build.

The tones aren't a bad idea. I was thinking about a supercut for ~60 seconds before the random playlist. I'd have to work that out in Audacity and verify it didn't get yanked from YT because when lawyers argue my videos get takedown requests.

Hi Z! What I love the most of your channel are the headphones sound demos, since is the only way to compare between HP's without buying them. But sometimes is not easy to compare, when not the same song. I allways search first if you include Haywyre's Permutate, to do side by side tests. Would you consider to repeat at least a song, in all your demos? I was about to buy the M40xs with pads and that cable. Glad I didn’t? I needed a closed set for the bus and walking in MPLS winter.

What about the other newer superlux closed, the hd 660 ?

I don't imagine those 8324 will be able to touch what the Retro's can do.

For $80 closed they are. Only a few things competing. M40x, CB-1, Retro's.

I never said that. I said MOST COMFORTABLE ever. And the weight and clamp and pads just fit perfectly. I was wearing them yesterday not even plugged into anything! Sound is above average and the presentation is also way above average.

Since I was looking for cheap headphones, and this review came up, I tried my hardest to find, if there was a stock somewhere and I found them!

I think you must been tired or drinking to say these headphones are great. We will never know since there is no way I am ordering from a Chinese distributor again.

I know this is going way back, but how do these compare to the Brainwavz HM5? Also, let's be realistic, you're saying "the best closed headphones" or whatever but you have Ether Flow closed too...so is it more like "best closed entry-level less than $200" headphones? It's hard to tell sometimes because you do tend to use a lot of hyperbole in your reviews.
