Your brain needs to adjust to the Elear's, I would describe them as having fiber optics to your head. And yes they are weird, but different from the bunch, they are fun to listen.

Very good review, Z. I felt similarly about the bass. They're really interesting and lively headphones but the bass breaks down when the volume goes up. Sort of strange that the mids and highs can sound so vibrant and joyful while the bass seems anemic and dragged along.

It sounds like there might be a driver issue, the early pairs had a lot of similar issues (including mine)
