Not really. The 600's are a good indicator set of cans. So you should have no coloring of the sound.

Im just about to order with the chip upgrade, front end will be MacBook Pro (plug and play) do you think it will lack warmth when using HD600s?

worth will depend, i just upgraded for my comfort of knowing that the nfb11 is as good as it can be... it's not that much more i think to have those upgrades especially if this is gonna be your hardware for a long time

The Magni 2 Uber has more power. But this is a better and more useful dac then the Modi 2 uber.

I downloaded his .flac recording of his tubes vs. Solid States video and listened to it like 1 million times with my HD650s. To me the DV sounded good but the highs seemed to be culled much more crudely, like with hair clippers. With Woo they were trimmed more delicately with scissors in skilled hands. I still want a DV tho but that's only because I can't afford a 2k headphone amp.

Question off subject... did the Woo tube amp give you anything better/different than your Dark Voice?

Given that this is comparable in price point to a Schiit Magni2 Uber/Modi2 Uber stack, how do these compare?

IF all you are doing is USB to 1/4" yeah. The Jot is still the cheapest balanced setup. But if you aren't using it why bother?

Ah so that is what that little jumper is for. I thought it was just the volume repair kit.

Worth noting that AGD included a jumper and instructions are on the web to make the lineouts variable only
