2018-09-15 14:06:15 +0000 UTCI only hope I'll be able to vote Nov. 6th. I missed voting during primaries because I was attending my grandfather's funeral (he was a Holocaust survivor). I'm going on a tangent here, but I want to share this with you two, Bryan and Simon. I found it interesting that out of all my relatives, my grandfather was the one that gave me strife for being gay. He even once told me on my birthday that I was a disappointment to the family, but you know what? I was the only one his spirit directly visited. I felt his presence in my room on Monday morning, the day before the funeral, and he physically messed with my dresser drawers (which are weighted and require force to pull out, they cannot roll out). I asked everyone else in my family if they experienced anything, but I was the only one, not even my mom. I know from that experience that he loves me and for a while he was trying to accept me, and that really did it for me. It gave me closure I really needed because I knew he was struggling to come to terms with it. I know that had nothing to do with the message of this specific comic, but I still wanted to share my story with you. I love you guys and everything that you do. I only hope you also get the closure you desire from anyone in your family that can't accept you for the loving people you are as well. <3
