Added 2023-09-20 12:14:47 +0000 UTCAfter a brief pause to marshal their strength, the Dwarf Demonsmiths return to the battlefield in October with weapons that bring death from afar.
The blunderbuss regiment are rightly feared by their enemies, as the secrets of black powder enable the dwarfs armed with these weapons to shred the heaviest armor before opponents can get close. There is a choice of command stands and the option of a standard or a banner (which can be printed blank or with sculpted detail). Of course, based and supported individuals are provided in addition to the strips. And as with other regiments in this army there is a choice of head options.
Backing up the blunderbusses is the dreaded mortar. The shells fired by this infernal construct are so large that they require a captive ogre to load them, but fortunately the Demonsmiths are never short of these kind of "helpers"! In addition to the ogre, there is a crew of 2 dwarfs, one of which can be printed with either a big hat or a helmet as you prefer. A bespoke 40 x 20 mm base with suitable recesses is also included, and the war machine and crew are completely support free!
Leading the advance this month is an ancient Demonsmith sorcerer. Overindulgence in potent magics has left him with severely reduced mobility, so he gets around the battlefield in an engine of his own design, powered by a captive fiery demon. The sorcerer also has a choice of headgear options.
For glade nobles and merchants ($10 tier and up), this month sees the addition of a regiment of retainers to the Chivalric Knight army. A step above peasants, these warriors are armed with spears and shields and wear a variety of light armour. As always, there is a choice of command stands and sculpted banner designs, and you will also have the option of blank shields or sculpted detail. Individuals are of course included and, with the exception of some of the command figures, the unit is support free.
All the new releases will be available for download on October 2.
