Noble Elf Elite Guard and Plan for Glade Nobles
Added 2023-02-10 13:00:06 +0000 UTCIn the last post, I outlined what's coming for the Glade Denizen ($5) tier over the next few months. This time, I want to share some of the plans for the Glade Noble ($10) tier.
The plans are a bit more vague here since I sculpt extra miniatures for this tier in the limited time I have after I complete the main release for each month. Please don't sign up to this tier expecting to get an extra unit every month! It's just not possible for me to do it, but I am intending to use this tier to add as many extra units to the existing armies as I can.
With that disclaimer out of the way, I'm pleased to say that in March the Noble Elves will be reinforced with the Elite Guard. This infantry regiment is armed with halberds and clad in heavy armor. Every elf also gets a cloak to let the other elves know just how elite they are. 😉
As always, I'm offering a choice of command strips, and a choice of sculpted banner designs or a blank banner. All the elves will be available as individuals, and through judicious placement of pouches and sashes I have managed to make this unit entirely support free!
The elite guard will be available to Glade Nobles and Merchants on March 2.
And here's the plan for the next couple of months:
Glade Noble ($10) tier roadmap
March: Noble elf elite guard, wound markers
April: Noble elf army standard bearer, Chivalric knights army standard bearer and wound markers
Beyond this I'm not able to make any commitments at present. I am hoping to sculpt an extra unit for the knights to be released in May, but no promises - cavalry takes a lot of time!

2023-02-26 10:55:46 +0000 UTCI stumbled across a seller on ebay offering prints of these elves, and I had to search out your patreon because they look excellent. I can see some of these bulking out my existing WM army, but I'm especially interested to hear that lion axes - my chosen 28mm theme - are still a possibility for this collection!
