Interesting, we did not know about this being shot on iPhone. That kind of makes it more impressive considering the movie looked really good even though it was strange at times. We are definitely curious to see what a future movie could look like especially if they continue with the baby being a character.

This one was definitely strange to us considering how it ended but what you’re saying definitely makes sense if they have another movie coming soon. The baby being the cure would probably be the best way to spin what happened in this movie into another story.

2025-10-06 15:49:00 +0000 UTCI also felt the movie took a bizarre turn in the back half even though I think the overall themes about acceptance of the inevitable are cool. But definitely had some weird editing choices and story decisions. This movie was also shot on iPhone so I think that they overdid the cinematography because they knew that was controversial. Hopefully the sequels provide more insight into the ending with the I guess now baby human hybrids and the edgy merry men at the end 🤷🏼♂️

I felt the same about the 3rd movie, it did take a weird turn, my only guess about the Baby is it’s a future character they might be setting up, she might have an immunity which they could finally come up with a cure. As far as the fans being divided about this movie I say , if they liked this movie than they can move forward to the sequel and if they didn’t like it there’s always 28 months Later which they never filmed after 28 Weeks. This movie looks also like it was filmed as a Two Parter, the other half comes out in Jan 2026, so hoping that movie is better and has more answers. 🤔
