He previously did some rapping of his own in past years but has since shifted to curating some incredible vibes and atmospheres. I wouldn't say he makes banger beats on the same levels as a Just Blaze or a BNYX, but more so expertly puts together amazing samples and flawless drum production. He's also done collab albums with Earl Sweatshirt (VOIR DIRE), Boldy James of the Griselda label (Super Tecmo Bo, Bo Jackson, The Price Of Tea In China), Billy Woods (Haram), Roc Marciano (The Elephant Man's Bones), Action Bronson (Lamb Over Rice), and many others. One of the current GOATS of beat production.

Also, Alchemist is one of the god producers, there is rarely a beat that you won't love from him. He has so many collabs with everyone, this album is named for this collab (Al)chemist and (Fred)ie.
