He knew nothing of the concept of the album or what context to take the lyrics in (which, for the enjoyment of this particular album, is needed more than usual), and none of the songs are remotely conventional "bangers" that he would be able to catch a vibe from. The album grew on me for sure, but I knew from the start that this would not be in his lane and he probably wouldn't have much reaction or know what to make of it all, and I can't blame him or dislike him for that Looking forward to the future reactions fr, it looks like we'll have new JPEGMAFIA soon as well as Freddie Gibbs, Denzel, and Joey Badass, which is a stacked lineup
