I went back to his first few albums when I was high school and have been a fan ever since. Him and Kanye made me a Rap nerd; never even heard of a double-entendre until I listened to Jay Z 😂 "Jigga Man is diesel when I lift the eight up" Him feeling invincible when he pulls out his gun OR one of Shaq's nicknames is Diesel and Kobe Bryant's old number used to be 8 🔥 Nas and Jay are cool now. Nas dropped "Ether" as a response and won. The "you know who" bar is about Jay Z smashing Nas' baby mother 😳 Beyonce and Jay started dating around this time but that's not who he's talking about in "Song Cry". She was apart of a huge girl group, but she wasn't the mega star you know just yet. Check out The Black Album next. It's Jay Z's "retirement" 🤣 album.
