Aside from a few small updates, the development on SS has slowed almost to a stop. The last playable update was released in October. Since then, there have been NO playable updates, NO discernable progress on the long overdue tech update, and still NO estimate on a roll-out for it. You don't need to be a game designer to understand these simple facts.

Now a lack of direct communication is the problem, but Cookie also streams to share updates as well. There is a lot that goes into this update and different avenues of understanding. If you want your voices to be heard by the developers who are clearly stalling this update, make sure to speak with your wallets as words do not seem to have been working for the past long months as you could see. I'll wait. I'm not gonna bash for the update taking longer than it should've. Yes, it was advertised as a quick UI/Systems update that was only supposed to be a few months. It turned into an overhaul of the entire game thus far, is what it is and I dont know a damn about coding/posing. It looks great and if what he says is true, it will make future updates faster and more streamlined, meaning this game will be closer to done and we might be able to get a taste f the future project. Just like I want a taste of my wife when she stops shaving. (We decide whether or not she shaves playing MK11. If I win She keeps it. She wins she shaves) I'm also not gonna suck dick. From other 2d games I follow like "What-A-Legend" the communication is better, admins are generally friendlier and more sociable and each update takes 8 months to a year. Maybe a few months longer. But again it's a complete overhaul. Didnt ask for it but we have it and it's supposed to be better going forward. What I will say is that it sucks seeing 0 changes made every day. I dont know the process but it does suck to see it. DC just do you're thing. Simps stfu and others either wait patiently, lower your tier or unsub. Bigger than the entire game at this point. This started as a project from someone who knew jack shit about coding and was just teaching themselves. So Cookie has hired people to pretty much build the game AGAIN, but make it better in every way. While still working on new content that'll come out with the tech update. As a tattoo artist I can say that's bullshit art doesn't take that long I can do a full realism back piece in roughly 50-100hrs by myself drawn from nothing so that excuse is null and void; the point I'm trying to make is I've hand drawn art everyday for the past decade art is very quick to get done once your own style solidifies the problem in my opinion is 1 coding 2 posing if he'd hire someone to work 70hrs a week with overtime pay the next update would be out in a couple weeks but he doesn't do that he keeps most the profits if I had to guess because if he hired an entire staff and only paid himself 3k a month the game update cycle would be monthly/bi monthly

I think what a lot of you have been missing concept wise is that the Tech update is a rework of the entire game from the ground up to make the whole game better and line up all the art styles as well as implement new content. That kind of work takes a shit load of time. Unless you have some experience in the field of coding or making your own game with the same level of quality then you have no solid ground to whine and argue on. You want a scam? Go look up, "The Secret of the House" by Discreen Vision either here on Patreon or over on F95 zone. At least Dark Cookie doesn't ban you from the Patreon the moment you bring up a bug and ask for help about it. That happened to me when I did that exact thing with Discreen. Honestly we all pay to subscribe to DC if some want to complain that's their right, no one needs the comment police on patrol lol. We're all frustrated in waiting, 60k monthly is crazy for so little "content" updates, I don't give a fuck about status updates or wallpapers.

He's not making a game, he's remastering a game. What he should've done was start over on a new game if he wanted to show off his improvements. NLT did that and from Lust Epidemic to Treasure of Nadia to The Genesis Order, you see their improvements each time.

True, but 2D animation, THIS MUCH, especially now that it is ALL being redone, takes far more time than 3D or pixel art. That is one of the main issues along with coding.

For all the DC simps out there, most good games don't take this long. There are good games that are bigger, and have been started AND completed in less time, with less developers, for far less money.

To be fair, we got a massive STATUS update. The last game update of any kind was in October, eight months ago.

It was way more than just this, it was doing "this" for the ENTIRE game, that means changing the code, changing the animations, adding new locations, and adopting the new designs for all of the current and new characters being added.
