I'll check it out... but I've done several tests and I haven't seen this problem of paths changing. When exactly does this switch happen? One thing I did, and I'm not sure if I should have done it, was to give the player the option of going back to scenes in these parts of the game. The choice of who will be present on the court is random, but if you start the scene with one of the characters and then for some reason go back to the point where that choice is made, there is a chance that the character will be changed. If the player uses the rewind feature a lot, and also the automatic forward feature, he might not even realize that he's changed paths.
