Art Interpretation: Further Thoughts

Comments

Indigenous art is a contemporary topic for interpretation that has a political moral force upon members in select arts interest groups. A person may claim my art means I am the voice of a deceased indigenous person. However the person is forced by ontological rhetoric the are is non indigenous even though such persons may have an ontological sense they are the reincarnation of or possessed by a deceased indigenous person. This may be a bit of a fringe belief but valid. The notion of spirit worlds had been part of many indigenous societies given the use of old wold plant hallucinogens to contact the dead. The ontological authoritarianism within arts organisations is biased towards a materialist anthropological construction of self which aims to suppress marginal ontological interpretations. The outcome is artistic socialism rather than libertarian liberal arts which is hopefully integral to living in a democratic polity. The meaning has in this sense a biographical sense of meaning through the act of projecting personal intensions mixed with literary devises that are part of constructing modern persons and so ought to respected as valid but not sound.
