I think Jane is somehow surprised by the Maître D because she was a little too smarmy for them arriving with only seconds to spare. However she will let it pass then escort Andy and Jane to a special table.

Maybe The Sisterhood has a punishment in store for Jane demanding a table at their exclusive restaurant, The Knightley? The Maître D won't forgive her for making a scene.
