Sometimes when a Bergman & Knightley boy gets those feelings and their host is not available in that moment,it is nice to know there is often a warm and loving neighbour to ease that confusion.

2025-11-20 12:40:24 +0000 UTCJeremy knocked on the door with trepidation. He couldn't help feeling this was wrong but he'd been feeling neglected for a number of days. Days that had turned to weeks. He'd been looking forward to this afternoon. With Mr Hansen and Mr Laine away together on a fishing trip he'd hoped that Mrs Hansen would have time for him. His hopes were dashed when she went out in the morning to meet up in town with 'the girls'. He was dismayed that she'd not invited him to join her, not even to carry her bags. The days when she'd been proud to show him off to friends as her personal arm candy and maid had faded. More than faded: they'd gone. Two years ago she'd seem so proud of her boy. Her very own B&K Boy. All that had changed He knew what had caused her decline in interest. At least he thought he did. The downturn in Mr Hansen's business seemed to have set things off. When he'd arrived after the auction, both Mr and Mrs Hansen had seemed very happy. He'd been happy too with the loving attention from both of them. He might have been Mr. Hansen's gift to his wife but she'd been more than happy to share him with her husband, and Jeremy had been delighted to oblige them both. He looked on those times with happiness and sadness. He'd loved lying in bed between them sharing their attention. What had happened? -------- Part of a longer story that's in gestation. S xxx
