lil update

HEY HEY HEYYY

I know I have been a bit quiet lately, but that's because things have been C H A O T I C!

I thought I would provide a lil transparency + update about what's going on!

Long story short, our (new) landlord sux. Our previous ones weren't great but I never felt as if they were maliciously neglecting us. I just don't think they were equipped to be landlords. Now, this new guy, he owns a massive company and is essentially aquiring properties left and right, and is known for his empty promises and lack of effort.

He's also condescending AF, saying things like "what do you guys even do here all day", "that's all you sold?" when he came in and we had mentioned inventory that came in and out during our first two weeks of having the TT shop, and then when we walked to his office for our welcome meeting he said "it took you guys that long to walk here?" as if it was a forking race.

Anyway, there were little jabs here and there, and I stomached them, but what I can't accept is the unsafe working conditions, not just for me, but for September, too. And lately, it has been nothing but that.

Even a couple days ago, the day after we had movers come and move everything from the office to my tiny house (which was $ 1 000), we're finishing up shop orders and I'm trying to cancel utilities, and its 58 degrees in here. We have the heat on. It's cranked and doing nothing. I know its artic freezing cold but this is unacceptable. Some of you know I have nerve damage, chronic pain, and tarsal and carpal tunnel, and when I get cold, everything hurts, and here I am, forking freezing. Imagine if we weren't moving out, we're supposed to just work in these conditions?

Anyway, I hate being negative, I just wanted to update you, and let you know that things are whack right now, and to please bare (bear?) with us while we transition from the office to my house, and try to make sense of that set-up.

A huge thank you to anyone who snagged a book off the TT Shop & Shopify, that influx in orders helped offset some of the costs for the move and really helped. We'll be restocking in the coming weeks (no idea where the books are going to go but we will make it work).
