So, I did a thing

Now....this looks great, I think, BUT doing packs this way is going to take longer, again, BUT, I should be able to use it to refine existing packs, again, BUT, my PC is praying for death doing this. I am going to be testing this to see if I can reliably make packs this way.
The problems:
I can't do this in batches and just automate it, so time is an issue and I can't spend weeks on a single pack.
My PC is old, I am planning to upgrade, been planning for a while, but life is a bitch and I've had to spend my upgrade money 3 times now on other stuff because...life, I won't share here since that's my problem.
Just so you all know, I'm saving every penny that comes my way on Patreon, that will go to upgrading my PC. Motherboard, ram and cpu first since that's what's killing me right now, gpu can wait since those are just too crazy right now and I can still get some work squeezed out of this one.
Since I have paid access now, I just wanted everyone to know, I'm not just going to spend the money on crap, it will be for my PC and in turn, it will help me do better packs.
Thank you to everyone who supported me so far and also, thank you to the free members, bumping up my number of subs has really been a great help.
Now with all that out of the way, please check the screenshots, it's a before and after of one of the backgrounds and I will add some more later, one I've finished more.

If the backgrounds aren't loading, you only enable the load textures option, you also have to enable Load VRAM Writes, just under the texture option. Do note that there are a few smaller backgrounds that simply don't load, but that's an issue with the emulator/ Hope this helps :)

2025-09-04 08:32:42 +0000 UTCHi, thanks for this. I’ve tried it, but it seems it didn’t load all the textures. Even at the beginning, the background is still the same — the only things upscaled are just the weeds around the fences and the door. Hope you can help me

I also got another program im using for Namco Museum that makes pixels sharp if ya wanna try it there might help you. I was wondering about this anyway. Plus thank you again for sacrificing your PC to help me too🤣 we're in the same boat trying to collect money here for a new one. Love all the members on both our pages ❤️
