I probably will not be able to publish part 2 next Sunday but I do have an entire week off in the last week of July so I will be able to probably publish on Monday, Tuesday and steam ahead for Arc 3 in August :)

I feel like the way he was shown to be dead, or at least pretty much dead, and not mentioned again except a few times in passing is something that I think suits the story...his story. He's one of many who died almost nameless and pointlessly in a dungeon somewhere forgotten by all but a few. The only reason he mattered at all is because he mattered to Sophia. Just like many others who died mattered to a few people but forgotten by most everyone.

2022-07-21 20:43:21 +0000 UTCThere's a lot of fun directions I can go with the goblins :) Got lots of ideas that aren't shored up yet that I'm exploring but certainly raider goblins is really fun to think about :) Yeah when it comes to the whole 'servant' issue, there is a lot of messed up societal things to unravel and promptly stomp into the past. I mean...HOPEFULLY the use of technology...in particular capable machines (not AIs) that are able to function as servants should be something that should wean off the darker families of scratching that slavery itch. Maybe I'm being possibly a little bit too optimistic ? Definitely. Unfortunately when it comes to power, especially those who have personal tangible power, it'll be a constant battle in one way or another. As you say, it is part of human nature. No matter how much Atticus might plan for it.

2022-07-18 13:56:40 +0000 UTCSince he plans on having the Goblins be a part of the Illso venture, he could broker a sweet deal with them by giving them their own planet. A lot of problems between Goblins and Wizards is that they want independence. Although an independent Goblin nation has its own problems. But a cool thing would be to see them interact with UNSC claiming to be aliens. Those little bastards wouldn't pass up an opportunity to trade and or raid with the entire human populations. ..... Lol I find it funny that Tweenie acts all smug with anyone not apart of the Sayre family, although I figured he acted that way as he knew what Greengrass' fate was and the fact he was responsible for his previous master's death. But be careful doing the whole 'freeing the Elves trope' the old families particularly the Darker families might resort to kidnaping muggles and turning them into slaves especially when they start making colonies. Hell now that I think about it they might do that regardless. Muggle hunting is a practice in certain circles, and I wouldn't be surprised if that tradition evolves into a Raider Faction. And I assume there will be factions. It's just a part of human nature. Atticus might be able to stave it off for a generation or two but the problem will pop up.

I can't wait to see the effects of Atticus's actions on the characters of the Marauders era. I wonder if the tensions of the time will be more or less compared to the canon timeline? If Atticus's plan to create a powder keg come to fruition, I could easily imagine the turmoil being twice as bad. Especially because the divisiveness of the subject could splinter the school houses as well as political parties. I can't wait!👍

We are getting to the point of surpassing the actual Harry Potter books Just think that we are multiple books worth of story in, and it is still this good. It boggles the mind. Keep it up!
