Friends! Travelers! Adventurers from near and far! Welcome to the Wildmage Press Patreon and Horizons magazine!

This post—our very first!—is an extra-early look at the gorgeous cover and table of contents for Horizons 1, which will be released on October 9, 2024 at 11:00 am PDT.

The cover, illustrated by Anna Grinnenko, is actually a selection from a larger 9”x16” piece that we commissioned as a beautiful piece of announcement art in addition to this inaugural cover. We’ll be posting the concept art and a process breakdown for patrons, and future bonus content might include lore and a stat block for this creature!

As shown in the table of contents (page numbers not final, but this gives you an idea of how chonky each issue is!), we have four amazing articles in this first issue, with new vehicles, a drop-in location, NPCs, stat blocks, STAR DRAGON stat blocks, and another setting with NPCs and a Pathfinder stat block! Patrons will also be getting more info and sneak peeks of the art for these articles before release.

P.S. In the future, the table of contents for an upcoming issue will be posted about a week before release day, and the cover will usually be revealed when the new issue comes out. But for Horizons 1, we’re showing this off early to give everyone an idea of what’s coming as we ramp up to the big launch on October 9th!
