Delays/Upcoming Content/Discord?
Added 2018-12-15 08:51:57 +0000 UTCOh no it's been too long, again, since something's been posted! I got waylaid by con crud which had me pretty much not working on or finishing much of anything for way longer than I'd've liked, so, I'm more behind than I'd like to be. *grumble*
I've also been having a pretty major computer issue recently where it'll just SWITCH OFF without warning so that's been a challenge to work with as well, so I'm trying to save up for a new machine.
BUT
My dearest, generous and wonderful Patrons!
I have aspirations, and plans! And Pinups (tis the season after all!)
First off, gunna try to finish my very ambitious 12 Babes of X'mas Adoptable Batch by mid-way next week. Admittedly, they're not very X'mas themed but they ARE babes, available around X'mas...
And then at least a handful of pin-ups that have been sitting around thumb-nailed will finally be fully realized! Hopefully! Cos I really have been wanting to get them out there! I expect to get AT LEAST one done and up before or by X'mas, and yes they will include $5 tier alternate versions!
So, BEFORE THE CON CRUD, whilst at the convention in question, I got into a short but informative conversation about Patreon and Discord. I'm half convinced, so I need some feedback;
Would y'all like or prefer a Private Patron Discord Chat through which I distribute my art? I'm still not 100% sure how it all works - whether it takes precedence in some way or if anything I post here automatically pops up in Discord but some other Content Creators swear by the process. I'll likely look into it next year and give it a whirl and see how I personally like it...
I guess I'm curious if you any thoughts and feelings on Patreons with Discord Channels, etc, and whether you think it's even worth looking into? Perhaps give some insight on how it affects or enhances your Patreon experience?
Thank you all for your support and patience. I know I tend to forget to communicate during absences and such - I really want to get better about that.
Hope you're all doing well, and see you again before too long. *knock on wood*
PS: I will also try to get better about posting WIP/sketches, but I'm always nervous about that because I never know what I'll end up deciding not to finish for some reason or another... and sometimes a sketch is just a sketch which I have no intention of inking and/or colouring. But content IS content...
