Coming...soon?

So, it has been noted by many people who know me that I watch a LOT of movies, often... bad*.

I'm thinking it might be time to start sharing some of my thoughts and feelings about some of those movies with a wider audience.

I'm not sure when I will officially start this; first and foremost I want to finish my Jem retrospective, I had a strong start but stalled once I got to the actual movie. And just for clarity I need to sit down and rewatch it. And before that I need to reread my retrospective (shouldn't take too long, it was mostly an info dump about the cartoon). I was going to follow the movie review with an outline for a better movie and then a short opinion piece on the current comic series (it's excellent, grab some trades).
I'm not sure I'll do the suggested outline for what would've made the Jem movie better because it ultimate results in "redo everything except Juliette Lewis and Molly Ringwald's parts". 

All I can say the Jem movie is easier to get through Man of Steel, it's been about 5 months, I'm halfway through that movie, because I can only seem to watch for about 25 minutes before I get frustrated, scream at Clark Kant, and have to find some cute kitten videos with a TAS: Justice League chaser.

I'll likely post a poll to see if anything that's on my mind catches folks' fancy, once I'm ready to start. I'll list both movies I enjoyed and would love to watch again and... movies that I'm not mad at, but really dissappointed. :|
And probably a couple of movies I'm irrationally mad at, for either good or dumb reasons. Gotta mix it up.
Should be fun!

*bad is fairly relative, some people might say Zombeavers is an awful mid-budget movie with a 2/5 star rating but I had a lot of fun because it was gross, silly, and it knew it. And then there's... Man of Steel. I will likely not write a review of that simply because most of my viewing notes would read "Oh my God Clark. No. NO. OH COME ON CLARK. Clark why would you DO THAT. Clark you Kryptonian hick-bogan-redneck that is the LEAST SUBTLE THING YOU COULD DO. Clark no. No... Clark.. sthhap...sthaaaap... why are you so dumb... these are all bad ideas... Clark pls... pls nnnuu.. you IDIOT. Clark, you stupid ass, WHY. HOW HAS NO ONE DISCOVERED WHO YOU ARE YET?! *angry hateful sobbing*" There, that's a mini-review. Incomplete, because as I mentioned, I have only seen about half the movie... because I paused in frustration, thinking, it's been an hour, I can get through about 30-40 minutes, only to find I had OVER AN HOUR LEFT. 2 hours and 23 minutes. I might as well have skipped the first hour.
Maybe I can have it as a 6 month mark endurance challenge or something...
