Art Reward Note:
Added 2016-01-15 16:59:07 +0000 UTCWhen I started Patreon, I decided to draw and present the Commission-Rewards at 1500x1500 (or at least height or length-wise, in some cases). I feel I've finally gotten the hang of that canvas size, so I have decided to increase my work-space to 2000x2000 with another 500 increase around the mid-year mark (if I remember!)
I still have a bunch of sketches I need to tidy up and post here, done in the older canvas size, but moving forward I'll be endeavouring to continue with my larger canvas size; so hopefully I'll be able to create digital art that is also a printable resolution.
In other news, in December I was excited by a $65 pledge, until I noticed the pledger had only just created their account and was not supporting or watching anyone else - I tried to stay positive but after a few unanswered messages and a declined payment I felt I had to accept it was some kind of bot, and removed them. This was a little more painful than it should've been due to a refund I'd made last month.
But overall, I'm glad to still be where I'm at, and hopefully once I start filtering my older Patreon art to the general public I'll garner my interest, espc. if I can get a comic of some sort going. I also have a mini-portfolio idea that I'm going to hopefully get some work on, and if I can do 2 mini portfolios worth of art I may actually make a physical CD to sell at conventions (probably will offer a download link to $5+ patrons)... this is still early days but hopefully I can stick to this plan/offer!
So far 2016 is looking terrifyingly promising, I have a little more paperwork I should sort out in the next fortnight and some résumés that need to be submitted; I have recently encountered the concept of 'tailoring your portfolio' which has added more art-time away from customers and towards myself which is a more alien concept than I like, but it'll be worth it and I'm still more or less on track.
And come February I might throw money at 'Words with Friends' to remove their ads, because omg, sitting through 5-30 seconds worth of commercial after every word placement gets surprisingly stressful.
In the mean time!
Upcoming art will hopefully consist of more mermaids, some rule 34, and my Suggestion Lady, September, because I haven't really taken any suggestions as frequently as I meant - so I'm opening the floor here, anyone have anything they'd like to suggest to draw?
Thanks for reading!

More Suggestion Lady! Maybe swimsuit modeling? A nice pose in repose?
