It will serve as the home for my new and on-going series of figure drawings, Threadbare. I'll be sharing my process from rough sketches, to final art, and ultimately to the development of a self-published art book. It's going to be an exciting journey!
Alongside this personal project, I plan to develop loads of instructional content. This will include videos and demonstrations on all aspects of figure drawing and digital painting. I intend to focus on topics which I have a unique perspective to offer. So, for example, I won't focus heavily on the specifics of anatomy, but I will dive deeply into design theory, technique, and expressive composition.
Here's what you can expect to see:
A steady stream of figure drawings and paintings as I develop my Threadbare series.
Long-form instructional videos with minimal editing—raw, honest, and focused on real learning.
Process breakdowns, where I walk through my thoughts behind certain pieces—sharing both the successes and the stumbles along the way.
Uncensored drawings and reference images of nude models.
Musings on art of all kinds—including inspirational posts and deep dives into the work of master artists.
So whether you're a fan of figurative art, or a fellow artist looking to push your skills further, I invite to join me on this creative journey!

Hey Thomas, well I'm glad you found me! Many see figure drawing as a means of developing and practicing fundamental skills. (Rightly so!) But, I've also come to appreciate it as an artform in itself. In that regard, I feel there's a world yet to explore!

I have recently begun doing more figure drawing out of my great passion for the art and to relive the love of this art that I had way back in Art college. Your style is exactly what I’m trying to emulate (I’m a big fan of Singer Sargent sketching techniques as well) and your sketching style is what I am hoping to achieve (or at least come close to) 😊
