Added 2023-10-03 03:36:48 +0000 UTCI've been checking out my older art lately. To be precise, older as in before this patreon is even up, or my early lougosi era. And, I notice that my drawing quality, in particular around shading and material rendering, has been deterioriating lol :( confidence dwindiling down haha
(on the other hand, posing, anatomy, and expression, all have boosted up a lot, i had real bad same face issue back then)
So I decided to do some study on my painting process. Assessing my older art and then try to combine as much as possible with my current style.
I do remember that one of the biggest reason I change my style is that my older style would take almost a week to finish my painting, and I want to be much more faster, so I try to make things simpler. With the current one..., well sometimes i can finish it in one afternoon (last Gouhin one is like this, but sometimes it can reach a week too (Papa Titan). Notice that both examples have very similar quality
Anyway I was not thinking of drawing Mr. Wolf here, but when I put down the color, I ended up picking his colors lol he is truly my one true love haha
