Important Update

I have one important announcement to share today. Very soon, I’ll be making the following change to how content will be shared—using Discord.

How Content Access Will Work Going Forward

• Discord: Viewing illustrations, stories, and downloading zip files

• Patreon: Membership payments and post update notifications

Patreon officially supports integration with Discord. For example, it’s possible to create Discord pages accessible only to members of a specific plan—like the Essential Plan—and that’s exactly the feature we’ll be using.

During a short transition period (likely 1–2 days starting tomorrow), I’ll post both on Patreon and Discord. Once everything is confirmed to be working smoothly, I’ll switch to posting exclusively on Discord. Along with this, the zip files will be uploaded to the same place as the illustration posts, at the time the final episode of each story (currently usually Part 2) is posted.

Background & Reasons for the Change

• Greater flexibility in the characters and outfits I can include

• Ability to write the kinds of stories I couldn’t before

• A safer, more sustainable way to operate from a management standpoint

There are other reasons as well, but ultimately, every one of them comes down to one goal: ensuring that your support for Parmee continues to feel worthwhile and rewarding. Since this is my first time using Discord in this way, just as Patreon was a first for me, there may be a few bumps along the road. But please understand that this decision comes from exploring the best ways to keep providing you with the highest-quality works possible.

Preparing to View Posts on Discord

I know Discord can feel a little intimidating if you’re not used to it, but really, there are just two simple steps. In fact, before I even wrote this post, more than half of the members had already connected their accounts—which surprised me in the best way. Thank you!

Step 1. Create and Log In to a Discord Account

• Create an account here: https://discord.com/register

• Log in on PC or mobile, browser or app—any platform works.

• Be sure to complete your email verification.

Step 2. Connect Patreon to Discord

• Open Patreon in your BROWSER on PC or mobile (not in the Patreon app).

• Go to the Membership tab.

  

• Scroll down and click Connect to Discord.

  

• When the pop-up appears, click Authorize.

  • If no pop-up appears, check your browser settings (e.g. disable popup blocking or adblock temporarily) and try again.

    

That’s it—your Discord is now linked!

If you still can’t access the Parmee server after completing these steps, please check the official Patreon guide here:

To quote a key point: “We recommend disconnecting and reconnecting Discord to Patreon. Before doing so, log out of Discord and clear your cache and cookies for a fresh start. Reconnecting will reestablish communication between the two apps.”

I don’t think many people will need a translation of that article, but if you do, I suggest using ChatGPT or Grok to quickly generate one.

How to View the Posts

• Click the Parmee icon image in Discord.

• Next to the icon you’ll see Parmee’s collection, and under that your support plan. (For those on the Nitro-Fuel plan or higher, it will display as “Nitro-Fuel or above.”)

• I’ll be posting in threads under that section. From there, everything should be straightforward to follow.

  

In Closing

Thank you so much for your understanding regarding this change. I know some of you may be thinking, “Ugh, what a hassle!”—but this adjustment may actually allow me to create and share the works you’ve been waiting for. At the very least, that’s how I see it. More importantly, this change is also meant to ensure that my work can continue to be enjoyed safely and for a long time to come.

本日も１つ重要なお知らせをします。
今後まもなく、以下の通りPatreonとDiscordの連携を活用した運営方法に変更いたします。

運用方法の変更

Discord：イラスト・ストーリーの閲覧、zipのDL
Patreon：メンバーシップのお支払い、投稿の更新通知

Patreonは公式の機能でDiscordと連携できるようになっており、例えばEssential Planをサブスクいただいている方だけがアクセスできるページをDiscord内に用意することが可能で、今回はその機能を使います。
未定ですが、明日から１～２日くらいDiscordとPatreon両方に投稿を行い、問題がないと判断でき次第、Discordでのみの投稿に切り替わります。
また、これに伴いzipは各ストーリーの最終話（現在だと大体Part2）の投稿と同時にイラスト投稿場所と同じ場所にアップロードするようにいたします。

変更の背景・理由

・取り扱える衣装、キャラクターが増える
・今まで書けなかったストーリーが書ける
・運営の観点から危険がより少ない運営ができる

これ以外にも理由はありますが、全て皆様に、Parmeeを支援してよかった、と感じていただくため、満足していただくためです。
Patreonの利用はもちろんDiscordのこういった利用も初めての経験のため、もしかしたら上手くいかないようなこともあるかもしれませんが、ご支援いただいている皆様に最高の作品を提供し続けるため、いろいろ模索しての結果であることをどうかご理解いただきますようお願いいたします。

Discordで投稿を閲覧するための準備

Discordにあまり触ったことのない方にはとっつきにくいとは思いますが、やることはたったの2ステップです。本記事を投稿する前にすでに半分以上のメンバー様がすでに連携を済ませてくださっており、ちょっと驚いています。ありがとうございます！

１、Discord アカウントを作成・ログイン

Discordアカウントを作成する
https://discord.com/register

Discordにログインする
PCでもスマートフォンでも、ブラウザでもアプリでもなんでもOK
ログインし、メールアドレスの認証まで終わらせておいてください。

２、PatreonでDiscordとの連携ボタンをクリックする

・PCもしくはスマートフォンのブラウザでPatreonを開く ※Patreonアプリからはできません。
・Patreonの「メンバーシップ」タブをクリック

・下にスクロールし「Discordに接続する」 をクリック

・ポップアップが出てくるので「認証」をクリック ※ポップアップが出ない方はポップアップ無効化の設定を解除したり、アドブロック等を無効化する等されてから再度お試しください。

これでDiscordとの連携は完了です。

ここまで操作してもDiscordにてParmeeのサーバーに入れない場合
一度次のURLにて公式の記事をご確認ください。
少しだけ抜粋すると、”DiscordをPatreonから切断し、再度接続することをおすすめします。その前に、Discordからログアウトし、キャッシュとクッキーを消去してクリーンな状態で始めてください。再接続することで、両アプリ間の通信が再確立されます。”とあります。

連携がうまくいかず公式記事の翻訳が必要になる方は基本いないと思いますが、その場合はchatgptやGrokに翻訳させることをおすすめします。

アイコン画像の右にParmee’s collectionとあり、その下の各々ご支援いただいているプラン名をクリックしてください。（Nitro-Fuelプラン以上の方はNitro-Fuel or aboveとしています）
