Ciri's picked a beautiful ring for me. I can't stop staring at it on my finger. Ciri's not saying anything as I carry her, just humming and singing. She's got a lovely voice to listen to. If I weren't carrying her, I'd be falling asleep to the sounds of her melodies.

It's warmed up since the sun's been shining for a while. Ice in the mornings and warm sunshine in the afternoon. Ciri rubs her left hand up my cheek and brings it through my hair. "What was that for?" She doesn't usually do that without reason. She gives me a content sigh as she just continues to run her fingers through my hair.

She kisses my cheek and turns my head. She gives me a kiss that totally stops me in my tracks. She moves her lips, and I enjoy the sudden show of affection. She leans her head down on my shoulder after our kiss. "I felt like doing it... Hope you don't have a problem with that..." She says that to me in a voice that exudes confidence. In all truthfulness, she doesn't need a reason.

I feel like I got the girl that I was destined to be with. "I love surprises like that. If you feel like it again, feel free." She laughs at my response, and I also give a little chuckle. That was a pretty dimwitted response, if I think about it. She has that effect on me, though, one that makes me a bit of a dimwit. That's not a bad thing either.

We've been traveling for a couple of hours. There is never a boring moment between the two of us. "I believe that's the house, Ciri. You'll have to tell me more about those unicorns you met." She's been telling me story's about her time in other places. She met a unicorn called Ihuarraquax in a desert. Unicorns are pretty rare in our world.

She has been on my back all day. I think she was good to walk a while ago. "If this is the place, then we'll find out something that'll change our lives forever..." We'll find out if she's pregnant... If she is, then we'll have to be careful when it comes to combat. "You can let me down now, Cera... You've been carrying me all day..." I let her down, and I look at her.

Her face reddens as I smile at her. "It was easy, Ciri. Besides, I was the one that put you in that state." She blushes harder as she turns to look at me. She remembers the night just as much as I do. It turns out that I'm right about being given dominance. It was nice being on the bottom, though. I can see why she likes it so much.

She locks her hand with mine as we approach the door to the house. My heart beats faster the closer we get. I use my thumb to rub the top of Ciri's hand to help ease her. I can feel how nervous she is. "It's okay Ciri, whatever happens after this, we'll always be together. I'll have your back, and you'll have mine." She smiles and nods in agreement.

We reach the door and stop. My body doesn't want to move, but I force my hand and knock on the door. We hear footsteps approach the door, and an older lady answers. "Who're you?" Boy, she's pretty standoffish. She must not get many visitors out here. "Speak fast, or I'll turn you both inside out." I shouldn't be surprised by her words.

I take a breath and choose my words carefully. She's the only one that Jaskier knows who can help us. "We heard that you can tell if someone is pregnant... We're hoping that you could help us..." She looks at us and notices the rings we're wearing. She pinches the bridge of her nose and lets out a frustrated sigh.

She opens the door and gestures for us to come in. "Take a seat over there. I'll get my tools." I look around the place and see all the magical items. I see some I've never seen before and some I have. Ciri is also looking around as we wait. I notice a painting on the wall of her and her family. They look like a happy family, from what I see. They're also wearing mage gear.

I see a face I haven't seen in a very long time. It's Mar. He looks younger than I remember him being. This lady seems to be his mother... I wonder if she ever found out about Mar. I see her come back with a bunch of magical items I'm unfamiliar with other than the blood extractor. "So, what are your names?" This is a woman who doesn't mess around. I look to Ciri, and she gives a nod.

She waits, and I see her growing impatient. "I'm Cera, and this is my fiancé, Cirilla. Who are you if you, if don't mind me asking?" She gives me a look that says. You don't need to know my name. This lady is pretty rude, but I don't understand why she's like this, so I can't really say anything.

She looks to Ciri and holds out her hand. "I need a drop of your blood. Give me your hand, please. I need to ask you some questions. You'll answer truthfully if I'm to get an accurate reading. I'll know if you're telling the truth." Ciri looks at her and reluctantly gives her hand to the lady. Ciri nods in confirmation.

She immediately gets into the questions, not wasting any time. "Has he been your only partner in recent memory?" I can tell I'm not going to like these questions.

Ciri gives a smug smile and answers her. "Cera is the only person I've ever been with." The lady looks into Ciri's eyes and then mine. She gives a nod in confirmation. I know that I've been Ciri's only partner, and I've only been with Ciri. She prepares another question and begins doing more work on a spell.

She asks a question while not looking. "How many times have you had unprotected sex with Cera?" I can't help blushing at the question myself. We were even more irresponsible in not having protection after the first time. If she wasn't pregnant before, then she is now.

I look over to Ciri and see how embarrassed she is right now. She looks cute with the expression. "We don't use protection..." That's the truth. Talk about not caring about consequences. The lady sighs in disappointment and looks to Ciri again. She nods, confirming the truth.

She starts mixing some ingredients and says some enchants. She looks to Ciri, prepared for another question. "This is the last question. Do you think you're pregnant?" I don't know why I feel nervous when she asks that question. I look over to Ciri, and she's just calm and confident when the lady asks the question.

Ciri takes a deep breath and looks right at where her womb is located. "I think I'm pregnant..." I can't explain why I feel so happy when she says that... I just do... I squeeze her hand and smile. She reciprocates, and we both look at the lady. She finishes her enchant, and the room fills with light.

After the blinding light fades, we see a floating white ball with two little lights in it. They're both green. Maybe they represent us? I look to the lady as she inspects the lights. She looks at us with a neutral expression. "You're pregnant, Ciri. You should expect healthy children." I immediately grab Ciri and spin her around with a stupid smile.

Ciri is exuberant with the reaction I'm giving. She laughs in joy as I spin her. "We are going to have a child, Cera!! A CHILD!!" I feel a love that is indescribable when she says that this is something I could only ever dream of happening. However, the silent lady has more to say to us.

She clears her throat, getting our attention. We look at her, not expecting any more information after getting what we needed. "You're having Children. Ciri's pregnant with twin." I'm at a loss for words... Two kids... Two kids, that are ours, at the same time...

I put Ciri down and look at the lady as if she's wrong. She sighs and points to the ball of light with two little green lights in it. "Those two lights represent the twins. I guess congratulations are in order, aren't they?" Oh... I look to Ciri, and she has the same look she did when Yen would teach us math when we were younger.

Ciri stares at the lady with that same funny and cute face. I'm... I don't know how to describe it. This is the best moment of my life. After a few seconds, Ciri finally says something. "PARDON?!!" She isn't angry or mad, just really shocked. She looks at the light in the room and rubs the part of her stomach they're growing in. I bring her into a hug.

She rubs her forehead in annoyance. We need to hear her say it once more, and she knows that. "You're having twins, Ciri. You'll give birth to two babies." She has slight happiness when she says that. Guess she isn't an ice queen. Ciri turns her head towards mine and wraps her hands around my head. She brings me down to give me the best kiss of my life.
