Patreon tiers update

Hello friends. I think it's time for a small change (for the better)

For the last few months I've felt that things needed to change with regards to some of my patreon tiers. First of all is the discord server. Currently at 20 dollars it's probably the most exclusive discord server in all of "left youtube" communites. 

The reason for this is that when I began my youtube career I had, and still to some degree have, pretty severe social anxiety and I was dreading the prospect of having to moderate a big discord server. For this reason many other youtubers don't have discord servers at all. I've considered closing it down, but I've already seen what good it can do, despite the small size currently. 

However, it is small. Not a lot of people are willing to pay a lot of a server, even if it's mostly in symbolic support for my work. And I feel that's unfair, and the server deserves a lot more members and activity. 

So for this reason I will starting next month open up the server to more patrons, starting at the 5 dollar patreon pledge, so it'll be in addition to the extra streams. 

To replace the 20 dollar pledge I will be offering access to videos at least 24 hours early to those already on that level. 

I am still thinking out some ways to offer more pledges, as the last thing I want is to make anyone feel like they're missing out, and if you have any feedback on this please let me know. Is this a bad idea? A good one? I don't know yet. 

Secondly. Future tier updates

So I am not sure how these tiers will look forever. I try to avoid change as much as possible as I don't want to "rock the boat" so to say. But previous updates have worked okay, and I want to try to offer you as much as I can manage so that you feel like you're getting your dollars worth. 

The new react streams seem to be enjoyed by many for example, and they give me a change to revisit my older work which I also enjoy. 

For the future, I don't have a lot more to change. Eventually I think I will have to cut the part where I thank patrons out loud in the credits, as the list is already getting pretty long. But for right now I've decided to keep it, because I enjoy it and because I don't know what to replace it with yet. (if you have ideas, let me know)

Anyhow, I hope this is okay and obviously I understand if you will want to change your payments around a bit in case you don't like these changes even if I hope that you will still stick around to support me. Though obviously, there's no pressure, especially in these uncertain times.

I've been putting this off for several months now and it's been unfair to you. I want you all to have the best experience being my patron as possible and I hope that this will assist in that.

TL:DR Starting next month, august 1, I'm opening up the discord to more people and 20 dollar patrons will get to see videos earlier instead of being the only ones to join the discord.
