Battle !
Added 2014-03-02 19:42:42 +0000 UTCI was planning to use a card mini-game for simulate the seduction in Futa SexEd. I have made Battle in that purpose but once finished I disliked it ! it is too much luck based, there are no strategical challenge... that was not a good idea but I learned some new stuff in Flash AS3 so it was not made for nothing :p Chosen card must be : - same color as the last played card - or same value - or same picture + bigger value I’m pretty sure that we could do something nice with this game. there are almost no limits for colors, numbers or pictures so please, tell me if you have ideas for a better rules system.

Please excuse the delay in my reply. Yeah those rules I mentioned would make the game easier, however it would also be completable, it would be harder to just simply outright lose on turn one or two because of the rules of the cards. Allowing the player to make a customized deck would solve the difficulty issues of it being too hard or easy. And you already mentioned this might be the direction you go with the slaves. I might assume that the card game would not be considered easy with those rules if you had to train up a slave to get the card you need to defeat a certain opponent. maybe depending on certain factors that card could come out to be a certain color or can change color and increase or decrease in numerical value based on how the slave in treated as you play.

2014-03-24 01:26:01 +0000 UTCThose conditions are for strategical reasons. I don't want the game to be too easy. But many players complains it is too easy so it is not a success. There are no cheat, probability are the same for player and CPU. I plan OverSexEd to be all public for Alpha and adult only for Beta and Final. There will be NPC : students, teachers, principal, students parents, and more from events like "The beggar". I'm building OverSexEd game engine for use mods so there are almost no restriction of what can be added to the game. Maybe it would be for fight other enslavers ? Don't know yet, I'm want to first end the Alpha version.

2014-03-15 11:00:39 +0000 UTCyes I agree that it is very much luck based. I remember at one instance had only 1 card available to use on turn one that had a 9 in it, then I failed by turn 2. lol. And on other turns I had nothing but 9 card options to play. No amount of skill cause have caused me to win those. So the CPU always has a proper card to play I see? lol. Seems a bit impossible assuming it uses the same playing deck. If you stick with those rules, you might have some colorless or rainbow card that has a 0 number (or any low number) and be played on any card. The card game as it is is not a bad idea, it is simple and easy to understand. However why do you have the last rule being same picture + bigger value? it seems like it should just be: Chosen card must be : - same color as the last played card - or same value or larger - or same picture if you had this you would not need the rainbow card I mentioned earlier. How would a slave system work in OverSexEd? From what I have seen from the Alpha, everything seems pretty lax and carefree/happy. It is hard for me to see how you would put in a slave system into it with Magic the gathering like mechanics for.. I guess for the students ? And they are fighting who? other student in the same school ?

Maybe something more like "magic the gathering" and other collectibles card games. It would be fun to have a game like OverSexEd with an enslave system and slaves would become card games for your fights ^^

But in this case specifically using the card game as a type of combat system. Just give the player and the CPU opponent a HP bar. And the "points" is how much damage you have done to the opponent. just an idea.
