New Schedule

I'm just gonna put it out there and hope I can commit to it, this will change if I feel like it's burning me out more than it's helping, but lately I've felt a need to commit to more specific practice and also figure out some things that I can post as exclusives without feeling bad, so I'm going to kill two birds with one stone and do some actual daily warmups. I'll try to post every (active) day, but if I don't, I'll make sure I get 'em all posted every Friday all at once.

Mon: thumbnail study / ~5 quick drawings referencing other people's layouts, styles, etc. about 5 mins per drawing, just to get a gesture, composition, or specific detail down + notes on what I'm studying

Tue: dedicated color study /~1-3 drawings referencing screenshots, photos, or other folks' art + notes on what I'm trying to pick up on

Thu: figure drawing /~10 drawings, (8 study 2 freehand) + notes on what I'm trying to focus on

Fri: free day / whatever I feel like

I'm going to take Wednesdays and Sundays off. On Satudays I'll post 1 comic page, so I'll be sure to get those in weekly. While Wed/Sun will be off, I'll use Wednesday to draw overdue giftart, requests, and work on the monthly ref sheet. Sundays are 100% no-work days. I'll leave myself free to shift around this schedule however I like, as long as I get some amount of warmup study in each day and schedule my comm work at least in some capacity.

I may shift comics to Sundays just so Saturdays are off which would prob be more convenient for friends and such, not that anyone I know works consistent schedules with weekends off and such, but either way, my Sat/Sun/Wed should be my most relaxed days, while Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri should be more active.

Hopefully this means more posts here, sorry it's been a little slow - I know most folks supporting me just do so because it's a nice gesture but I've been in a weird state of fixating heavily on comms while still having busy time I do nothing with 'cause beyond my obligations I've been in a major art slump. I want to be able to prove myself a little more... guess I'm a little stressed about moving in a little under 2 months and feeling like I also need to get things on a roll. Comms have been viable and all but y'know, I wanna make sure I've got room for growth in ways I'm happy with rather than treading water doing bare minimum and feeling a little dissatisfied. I feel good about things though!

Thanks for the support ;w;
