I've been working hard for weeks with nothing to show for it - shot a video the other day, then had to reshoot 2/3rds of it, then just couldn't bring myself to edit it, too overwhelmed. Pushed everything aside, took a few deep breaths, and contemplated a Guy.
When I got this thing it was out of sheer novelty; I did not expect there to be anything worth discussing, and there really kinda isn't, but it was a good springboard for Saying Words and Doing Stupid Shit and I did both in about equal quantity. I'm ultimately very pleased with the result, though I really need to get another ceiling light to illuminate that back corner and paint the wall if I'm gonna keep using this space. Maybe get a desk that's less... white, too.

Hey! I just resubscribed today because of this video. I used to use these constantly. After watching your video a few times, though, I realized how cringe and dumb it was to use flavored chemical pouches... so I stopped and haven't looked back! You're a real one :3

The vertical is only 1080, but the curved 2560x1080 (7.1:3, close to the 7:3 Cinerama aspect) is still wicked useful. It's a brand name, so even my weirder devices figure out its HDMI characteristics quickly. The 1920x720 from the small size you showed comes to an 8:3 aspect. Your DP to HDMI dongle may have been pat of the problem. Try a DVI to HDMI dongle. I can send you one if you need it. By the way, I love hacking thin clients to my will and could go on for days about my collection. (I just realized how much this reads like my mother's texts, just as paragraphs. Sorry.)
