Premiering new video
Added 2022-04-13 01:17:51 +0000 UTCHey everyone - if you're watching my new video on the Vaio, or planned to, you may have just been interrupted. Sorry, Youtube is bad.
I planned to release it as a Premiere, but forgot that there's no "backdoor" link, so once I enable that about five minutes from now, it becomes "private" until the release tomorrow.
If you were planning on watching it tonight, you can see an alternate copy in 1080p here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmqxZGnliOQ
Tomorrow after the premiere (10AM Pacific time) the proper video, linked in the previous email, will become public and you can leave comments there etc.
This is just one of the many utterly boneheaded problems Youtube has that they could fix in an afternoon if they cared about their product. In the future I'll have to double-upload any videos I intend to premiere so I can give you the right link up front.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'll likely have a few hundred people watching simultaneously, asking questions, etc. which is both fun, for me, and good "engagement," as the marketers say. And otherwise it's no different than a video coming out an hour later.
