Video: Ryobi soldering iron teardown

Title cards at the end explain my reasoning. I realize this will do absolutely no good, and I will get 500 comments telling me to "just" buy a TS80/TS100/Pinecil.

The "weird stuff" video I did a week or two ago was the first unscripted video I'd done in ages, so I got bold and did another. I was really flummoxed by the contradictions in this Ryobi station, so I was kicking around the idea of doing a video about it, but when I opened it up there was no question, I absolutely had to share this bizarre thing with everyone.

I built my "Hakko" 936 out of ebay replacement parts. with a greatly overpowered transformer and a wooden (open-frame) case. Intentionally made to be as ghetto as sin just to mess with the staff of hospital facilities I work in.
