Oh wow, I was so wrong about this in your teaser post. I can't believe it was a consumer product! Your OEM theory reminds me of the feelings I have always had for Sharp. I could never tell if they were just slapping a badge on stuff, or if it was all engineered/made in house. I just always remember seeing inconsistencies with the quality of their products. To me, it was only slightly up market from The Sharper Image. Just an interesting moment in time that this thing was on the market.
