Early access video: MFJ Titler

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_PF_wO3T7M

I said I wasn't gonna make a video this week but there was a lull in AGDQ runs and I got restless. I'm not convinced this video needs to be 25 minutes long; accepting suggestions for parts I should cut out. Also let me know if there's audible CRT whine, I think I got it though.

The funny thing is I initially typed "the brown dog" and had to stop myself and redo it like twice. good point about the transformer... hahaha, oops

Absolutely enjoyed the segment of assembling the hack festival of powering the thing. Also, mind exploded when I first thought you made a mistake in "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" - swore it was supposed to be "jumped", but ... yeah wow pretty sure that's a total me thing. I need to stop typing "jumped over". Oh, and "ooh it's toasty" is probably because through that EIAJ connector, you're powering the camera using that little transformer too ;) > and paint buckets that contain huge resistors that your radio can scream into to test it I paused the video and let out a full hearted laugh at that. 10/10 lastly, I suspect more that this company was trying to put together a safeguard against obsolescence, thinking (perhaps rightly) that computers and the home computer era was going to seriously upset their business, so they'd better build a platform to make something useful in that space. Like you said, it's practically a home computer. Just... not outwardly "we're getting into home computers!" headline-leading.

Yeah, I think you're right about the intro, it kinda Goes On. I'll see if I can trim that some, I try to make sure my stuff goes Right Into The Content but it's hard to not ramble. Appreciate everything else, thanks!

Hey generally love it, but a few thoughts: * Your expression in the thumbnail you chose is hilarious :) * Video starts out a little slow / meander-y where you were talking about deciding to make a video since you started doing weekly, maybe tighten that up? Do love a little backstory / personal stuff, but getting to the good stuff faster could help keep those new viewers * Pointing out your shirt matches the wall had me laughing, love it * I didn't catch any audio issues, but I watch on TV via Chromecast so sometimes I don't hear things that drive headphone users nuts * Generally LOVE the format of just taking some random tech thing and talking about it for a bit without tons of editing, I wish more tech YouTubers did this. Always see all this incredible gear behind them on the walls, and just want them to take it down and talk about it, you did!
