Here's the fact box for the Theocracy of Loegress, located in the far north east of Eastern Llachatul. It has a long history and its people cling to old chivalric myths and legends that are indistinguishable from its founding history. The three heraldic eagles in its flag represent the three states of Enaellon, Glynned and Mottania, which were united by the champion Torrvan in 2588 RM.
This state will be the focus of the next high-res and textless atlas map that will be published next week, exclusively for Acolyte patrons and higher.
The Encyclopaedia Elyden is already updated with all the relevant entries related to the regions and their history, so you can check them out there.

A History of Loegress and Kommea
c. -1500 RM: the early Fifth Age nation of Galabria emerges in the north east of Llachatul in what are now Calbia, Kommea, Haledonia, and eastern Loegress.
c. -100 RM: King Scylax of Galabria, exiled by his brother, finds the blade Tartaruch, winning back the throne of Galabria, where he rules until his death in -38 RM.
-38 RM: King Scylax dies.
250 RM: Galabria collapses to its own excesses and negligence, leading to the loss of the blade Tartaruch and its people scattering into disparate demesnes. Many of its myths and legends will go on to be appropriated by its descendent states, and remain in corrupted form to this day.
c. 340 RM: the state of Ghal Rimma emerges from what was the east of Galabria, establishing its own religion and culture.
c. 900 RM: Kaspian explorers travel south across the Sea of Ialcus and march south into what are today Loegress and Kommea. They mingle with the descendants of Galabria and more recent Tethysian immigrants from the south.
c. 1100 RM: the feudal states of Praettania emerge from the ruin of Galabria in what are today Loegress and western Kommea. Its people are culturally isolated, forming loosely-united city-states that are guarded by charismatic knights whose genealogies are shrouded in myths that emerged from cults of personality established by their rulers and founders.
c. 1200 RM: the scionic creature Cunomaglio establishes a cult of personality in Ghal Rimma, around the city of Insea that rapidly spreads throughout the region over the next decades, supplanting the established religion and government. All traces of Ghal Rimman culture are expunged, and the region becomes known as Kommea.
c. 1250 RM: Cunomaglio becomes the first autocrat of a united Kommea. He claims to have been ordained by a higher power and is able to convince the Kommean people through miraculous acts. A new palace is built in Insea in which a magnificent white throne is made, becoming his seat of power for the next six centuries.
He is a harsh ruler and demands much from his subjects but is competent, and leads the nation to new heights.
1863 RM: Cunomaglio dies in Kommea, but the death is not unexpected for he has foreseen it many times in the past, and has prepared accordingly, appointing his 3 Mortal-born sons as his heirs, who divide the land between them.
c. 2420 - 2450 RM: Praettania eventually crumbles due to political and cultural inertia and the subsequent internecine fighting that breaks out between its many feudal states, many of which have developed their own culture and myths that clash ideologically with those of their neighbours.
c. 2450 RM: Glynned emerges as a region of strong-willed people who remain as independent demesnes, while Enaellon and Mottania to the south form singular realms.
c. 2500 RM: following a few decades of strife as the descendants of the failed Praettanian states struggled to seek order, three regions emerge to fill in the void - Enaellon, Glynned and Mottania - which exist for the next decades in a state of uneasy alliance peppered by short periods of conflict.
2528 RM: prince Faegrin is born in Mottania. Following his father’s death he becomes king in 2552 RM.
2532 RM: prince Caradron II is born in Enaellon.
2549 RM: Torrvan is born in Caelmor, Glynned.
2552 RM: the maiden Eloevren is born in Glynned.
2552 RM: prince Faegrin becomes king of Mottania following his father’s death. He becomes feared and rules as a petty tyrant.
2566 RM: Ardfaenis born in Mottania to a proud family that can trace its lineage to the time of Praettania. She goes on to become queen of Mottania and, later, Loegress.
c. 2570 RM: the warlord Torrvan emerges in the region of Caelmor in Glynned, allying surrounding settlements, strengthening his cause.
2572 RM: Torrvan takes the maiden Eloevren as his wife, further aiding his plans to unite the surrounding regions.
c. 2578 RM: following his marriage to Eloevren, Torrvan manages to secure all of the territories of Glynned under his banner. He sets his base there, allowing him to march south against Enaellon and Mottania.
2583 RM: the Battle of Brynfael takes place, in which the forces of Torrvan meet the large host of king Caradron II of Enaellon. Torrvan’s well-trained arquebusiers not only invalidate king Caradron II’s mastodon shock troops, but decimates them, allowing Torrvan’s knights and other mounted forces to gain the advantage, ending the battle.
Caradron II is killed in the battle, and his son and second-in-command, is forced to swear fealty to Torrvan, leading to the eventual taking of Enaellon itself in two years time.
2585 RM: Enaellon falls to the armies of Torrvan, and he folds the territories into those of his homeland of Glynned.
2586 - 2588 RM: the Siege of Caer Sidi. The forces of warlord Torrvan besiege the castle of Caer Sidi in Mottania. It falls two years later, signalling the end of his war of conquest. King Faegrin of Mottania is captured and imprisoned.
2588 RM: following years of work, the warlord Torrvan successfully unites the three descendant Praettanian states under one banner, and he established the nation of Loegress from the castle of Caer Sidi. He chooses the name Loegress after the fabled land of Praettanian myths. He takes queen Ardfaen of Mottania as his wife and consort, further cementing his claim on the region, and locks up his first wife Eloevren until her eventual death from ill health in 2612 RM.
A new city begins to appear around castle Caer Sidi - this will later become the capital of Loegress, also known as Caer Sidi.
2590 RM: Faegrin, former king of Mottania, kills himself in his second year of incarceration in Caer Sidi.
2612 RM: Eloevren, the first queen of Torrvan, dies while imprisoned in Castle Caer Sidi. Torran is quick to change ancient laws, which until now follow the customs of Praettania and forbid him from taking the throne while his first wife is still alive, and proclaims himself king, with his second wife Ardfaen becoming queen consort.
Today Eloevren’s memory has faded, and she is only remembered in scholarly circles where historians and genealogists discuss her minor role in the region’s history.
As consort of a newly-united region, queen Ardfaen is keen on fostering cooperation and unity between the disparate people of the former territories of Praettania, and works hard to secure peace throughout her rule.
2639 RM: queen Ardfaen dies, leaving seven children and her husband, king Torrvan. Earlier controversies regarding her marriage to Torrvan and the imprisonment of his first wife have by now been largely forgotten and she is fondly remembered. A statue in her honour is built outside castle Caer Sidi, which stands to this day.
2657 RM: king Torrvan dies at the age of 108, quelling persistent rumours of having made pacts with ancient spirits in return for long-life, or of being a halfblood. He leaves his daughter as queen of Loegress.
The shrine of Taell Dan is built some years after his death as a place of pilgrimage and tomb, though it will eventually fall into disrepair after the rebirth of the Taellannir some 500-years later. And is largely forgotten today.
c. 2920 RM: a number of states in Kommea form a coalition to oppose the Cunomaglian triarchy, killing two of the tyrants, and forcing the third to retreat, losing his grip on the nation.
3087 RM: prince Triduan is born in Loegress.
3091 RM: Taellanir is born in Loegress.
3111 RM: prince Triduan accedes his father as king of Loegress, becoming its last ever king.
3139 RM: Taellannit, archshaper and advisor to king Triduan falls violently sick while at court. Overnight she undergoes a terrifying transformation before the king, his other advisors and court physicians and guards that sees her violently change into a floating entity of glass-like skin and featureless three-eyed face. Her miraculous transformation into an otherworlder whilst still alive throws the kingdom into a mass hysteria that changes the course of its history.
3142 RM: Abbarud, future king of Kommea, is born in Khamid.
King Triduan of Loegress enters into self-imposed exile following escalating events surrounding the transmutation of the Taellannit, around who a pervasive cult of personality has appeared over the last few years, whose members have vilified him. Fearing for his life and that of his family, he leaves Loegress before the situation worsens, leaving the kingdom in the hands of the Taellannit, who becomes the ruler under the supervision of her Hierophant priests.
3170 RM: the exiled king Triduan dies in Kommea.
3172 RM: princess Arleie of Kommea weds Abbarud of Khamid. Her father dies on a hunting trip months later, after which she becomes queen. As royal consort to the queen Abbarud made a name for himself as a skilled diplomat and ambassador, who fostered solid relations with neighbouring states – an important move to the fledgeling kingdom. In public he was seen as terse and showed little affection, but Arleie was clearly in love with him and the people blamed any oddities in character on his foreign upbringing and culture. This marks the dawn of the Kommean Dynasties.
3177 RM: queen Arleie of Kommea dies following a short fight against aepathy, leaving her husband the royal consort Abbarud as king of Kommea.
3189 RM: king Abbarud of Kommea enters the Mymerean Accords, bringing prosperity to his nascent kingdom.
3191 RM: the Firmamental college of Halyar Kho-Menet is built in Kommea, establishing a proud tradition of Khamidian-based shaping that remains strong tothis day.
3241 RM: the death of king Abbarud of Kommea.
3408 RM: queen Vishyali of Kommea dies without heir, and the line passes to her nephew Sydd Vardyl, beginning the Vardylian Dynasty.
3408 - 3652 RM: the Vardylian Dynasty. Often regarded as the Forgotten Dynasty of Kommea, this line of rulers is noted for its unremarkable legacy and its many uninspired monarchs. Its rulers accomplish little and allow the last vestiges of unity with Khamid to slip away as they concentrate on trade and relations across the Sea of Akry.
Their line ends in 3652 RM with the death of king Talyen, after which his two daughters vie for the throne, with the youngest, Caelwyr, ultimately acceding in 3654 RM following two years of uncertainty.
3654 RM: Caelwyr Vardylian establishes her claim to the throne and becomes the new queen of Kommea, establishing the new Dynasty that later becomes known as the Elysian Kings.
3654 - 3822 RM: the Elysian Kings. The third royal dynasty of Kommea. Named after its ancestral homes, Elsyiea, which became the capital for the duration of its reign.
The Dynasty ends in 3822 RM after king Fiorentyn III dies heirless and his aspirational cousin Vishyali II Cynia takes control, establishing the Cerynian Dynasty.
3822 - 3883 RM: the Cerynian Dynasty. The fourth royal dynasty of Kommea, takes over a weakened state and is forced to search abroad for allies. Paranoid of its neighbours, it looks to the south, and finds an unlikely ally in Tethysia. Prince Llyim is promised in marriage to the demigoddess Surhet, in hopes of securing a powerful ally.
The dynasty ends with their arranged marriage, after which the kingdom becomes a vassal of Tethysia, giving rise to the Autumn Dynasty of puppet rulers.
3849 RM: prince Llyim is born in Kommea.
3855 RM: the demigoddess (a religio-political rank bestowed upon the children of the God-king of Tethysia) Surhet is born in Tethysia.
3871 RM: prince Llyim marries the demigoddess Surhet of Tethysia, cementing a political union between the two nations that has been decades in the making.
3883 RM: the death of king Cerydan the Watchful of Hoamm. The so-called Autumn dynasty begins with the coronation of his son prince Llyim as king, during which princess Surhet becomes queen consort. The coronation is the final step in a political union that has been decades in the making, securing Kommea as a vassal state of Tethysia, remaining so to this day.
This begins a tradition where children of the royal family marry into Tethysian nobility (the so-called demigods of the God-king Kathisis of Tethysia)
3883 RM - present: the Autumn Dynasty. The present and fifth dynasty of Kommea, whose monarchs rule as stewards to Tethysia. Princesses and princes of the line marry into Tethysian nobility to maintain ties between the two nations, though they remain subservient to the Tethysian God-king, caring more about appeasing him and his demigods, than the Kommean people.
3919 RM: (the 777th year of the Loegrean calendar) the Taellannir abandons her duties and flies northeast across the Sea of Akry, never to be seen again. Her final words to her court were ‘guide my people until the coming of the pale sun’. Some believe that she went north to the White Sheet, though to what purpose remains unguessed at. Expeditions are mounted there every three years to search for signs of her and to make offerings, but all attempts have thus far proven fruitless.
Following her disappearance, the region comes to be ruled by her Hierophants, priests who emerged following her original appearance in 3139 RM. They appoint a representative who rules as proxy, keeping her throne empty should she eventually return.
3931 RM: queen Surhet of Hoamm dies.
3951 RM: king Llyim of Hoamm dies. The throne passes to his daughter Liradwyn, whose rule is short.
4004 RM: Sishra II is crowned queen of Kommea.
4007 RM: the present-day.
