This is the second Slaven story (the first being the Stone, in which he plays a supporting role) and the first to introduce any degree of continuity or ongoing narrative. I flitted across timelines and different 'moods' for Slaven in these early stories, and this is probably the most lighthearted he's even been (And ever will be, truth be told). There will be quite a few more Slaven-stories, in which his solemn, silent, inquisitive and intelligent character comes through more than this one, but I still like this one.
PLEASE let me know what you think, even it its bad! I know a lot of you have been asking for fiction in Elyden for some time, so I'm happy to start sharing more off my writing.
